An entire section is set to leave the Liverpool store\"Liverpool<\/p>\n

Liverpool’s Primark store is set to close an independently operated concession. WornWell is currently located in the men’s section on the lower ground floor but the business is set to leave the premises in the coming weeks.<\/p>\n

WornWell<\/a> launched in 2022 as a partnership with the Vintage Wholesale Company<\/a>, with its flagship store opening on Birmingham High Street. The Vintage Wholesale Company supplies high-quality pre-owned clothing across the UK and Europe, sourcing garments from around the world. In June 2023, WornWell<\/a> expanded with the opening of a store inside Primark Liverpool<\/a>, following a \u00a33 million extension of the site.<\/p>\n

The redevelopment increased the store\u2019s total size to more than 94,000 square feet across five floors, relocated Primark\u2019s Home department from a small top-floor section to a dedicated space on the ground floor, and introduced a Tasty by Greggs caf\u00e9 on the second floor.<\/p>\n

WornWell has begun disappearing from sites across the country including the Oxford Street store in London.<\/p>\n

The WornWell website is currently deactivated as is the dedicated section on Primark’s website, with the business “permanently closed” on Google.<\/p>\n

A Primark <\/a>staff member has confirmed to the ECHO<\/a> WornWell is ceasing operations in the Liverpool site in the coming weeks.<\/p>\n

The business is not set to be replaced and will instead see the space used for further menswear options.<\/p>\n

Although an exact date was unable to be confirmed, WornWell <\/a>is scheduled to leave Liverpool’s Primark “around mid-February.”<\/p>\n

The ECHO<\/a> has contacted Primark and the Vintage Wholesale Company for further information.<\/p>\n

Primark recently announced a strategic decision to close in-store caf\u00e9s across several of its locations in the United Kingdom. This action is part of a wider review to better use retail space and enhance the overall customer shopping experience.<\/p>\n

Four specific Primark stores have been identified for the permanent closure of their in-house caf\u00e9s. The affected locations are situated in Edinburgh, Braehead, Birmingham High Street, and Belfast.<\/p>\n

The decision on which concessions to close is being guided by each store’s individual size and its specific location. This process allows the company to adapt its layouts to better meet the unique needs of its local customer base.<\/p>\n

Crucially, Primark confirmed the Liverpool Church Street store’s food offering is not included in the list of closures.
