Folklore and reality blur in the first images and poster for Red Riding, executive produced by genre favorite Neil Marshall.<\/p>\n

Previously known as Little Red, the contemporary reimagining of Little Red Riding Hood will have its world premiere at FrightFest Glasgow<\/a> in Scotland on March 7.<\/p>\n

Craig Conway \u2014 who appeared in Marshall\u2019s The Descent, Dog Soldiers, and Doomsday \u2014 directs from a script by Peter Stylianou.<\/p>\n

In the film, after her mother\u2019s overdose, troubled teen Redele Riding is sent from her London council estate to live with her estranged aristocratic grandmother in the Scottish Highlands.<\/p>\n

At first, Red is captivated by the grand estate, but beneath the elegance, she uncovers disturbing secrets: vanished children, whispers of a monstrous wolf stalking the woods, and a sinister control exerted by her grandmother and the menacing gamekeeper.<\/p>\n

As folklore and reality blur, Red struggles to make sense of cryptic warnings left by her mother and a dark family legacy.<\/p>\n

Victoria Tait stars as Redele alongside Bill Fellows (\u201cTed Lasso\u201d), Ian Whyte (Alien vs. Predator), Lynsey Beauchamp, and Jack McEvoy (\u201cVikings\u201d).<\/p>\n

House54 produces. The Coven is handling worldwide sales for the project.<\/p>\n
