Tottenham<\/a> star Randal Kolo Muani was involved in a car crash after the offside front tyre of his Ferrari blew out on the motorway.<\/p>\n

The forward, 27,\u00a0had been travelling to Stansted Airport after training on Tuesday ahead of his side’s\u00a0Champions League<\/a> clash against Eintracht Frankfurt, and escaped unhurt.<\/p>\n

Fellow Spurs man Wilson Odobert had been following Kolo Muani on the M25 in Hertfordshire when the smash occurred, and pulled over to make sure his team-mate was safe.<\/p>\n

Images from the scene show the players standing in the lay-by of the motorway, with the front of the black Ferrari Purosangue – which can sell for more than \u00a3400,000 – wrecked.\u00a0The airbag in the driving seat of the SUV also appears to have been activated.<\/p>\n

Spurs boss Thomas Frank<\/a> confirmed the players had come through it unharmed.<\/p>\n

‘Both are fine,’ he said, when asked if they had been shaken by the accident. ‘Unfortunately, they were both involved in a minor accident. Everyone else involved in that accident was fine. It was a tyre blowing up and so the two of them are a little bit delayed. But they will land later.’<\/p>\n

The Purosangue – the first SUV the Italian manufacturers have released – is priced at around \u00a3313,000 but they are frequently fitted with optional extras which take them beyond \u00a3400,000.<\/p>\n

It is powered by a 6.5-litre 725-horsepower V12 engine and can go from 0-62mph in 3.3 seconds. The top speed of the car is 192mph.<\/p>\n

Frank’s squad took off without Kolo Muani and Odobert, but both are expected to join up with the squad and be available for the game in Germany.<\/p>\n

The Danish boss is desperately short of available players. Counting Kolo Muani and Odobert the Spurs boss has 11 senior outfield players available for the game.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Pedro Porro and Micky van de Ven, meanwhile, are the latest additions to a growing injury list.<\/p>\n

Porro has been ruled out for four weeks with a hamstring injury picked up at Burnley on Saturday, when he was replaced at half time. Van de Ven, who played for 90 minutes at Burnley, has not travelled to Frankfurt.<\/p>\n

Frank said it was ‘a minor issue’ and ‘not a hamstring’ and that the Netherlands centre half is ‘big possibility’ to face Manchester City in the Premier League on Sunday.<\/p>\n

‘It definitely does not help any of us,’ said the Spurs boss. ‘Of course, we prefer to have the best players out there on the pitch.\u00a0<\/p>\n

‘Any coach and teammate wants that, but we also have a squad and need other players to step up as they’ve done and perform.<\/p>\n

Spurs are already guaranteed to qualify for the knock out rounds but know victory in Frankfurt will clinch a top eight finish and a bye into the last 16 of the competition.<\/p>\n
