{"id":394460,"date":"2026-01-28T05:42:14","date_gmt":"2026-01-28T05:42:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/394460\/"},"modified":"2026-01-28T05:42:14","modified_gmt":"2026-01-28T05:42:14","slug":"guernsey-inflation-continues-to-slow-figures-show","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/394460\/","title":{"rendered":"Guernsey inflation continues to slow, figures show"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">The annual rate of inflation in Guernsey has continued to slow, according to the latest figures.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">In the 12 months to December 2025, the Retail Price Index (RPI) &#8211; which shows the cost of living in Guernsey &#8211; was 3.4%, the States of Guernsey data unit said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">The RPI was previously 4.6% in the 12 months to December 2024, official figures showed. <\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">Guernsey&#8217;s inflation statistics are published quarterly by the government&#8217;s data and analysis team, and track the price changes of a &#8220;shopping bag&#8221; of 2,000 goods and services.
