He made a brief albeit obscured appearance in the teaser trailer, but then a good look at Jason Momoa\u2019s Lobo in the upcoming \u201cSupergirl\u201d was revealed this past Friday.<\/p>\n

The clip was only a few seconds of Momoa in costume and make-up as the intergalactic bounty hunter, but it has been enough to stir quite a bit of chatter among fans.<\/p>\n

Now, Momoa is out on the press circuit this week promoting his team-up with Dave Bautista in the action film \u201cThe Wrecking Crew\u201d and says right now it\u2019s unclear what the future of his character will be beyond the \u201cSupergirl\u201d film.<\/p>\n

Speaking with Screen Rant<\/a>, he was asked about how different things are jumping from Aquaman in Zack Snyder\u2019s DCEU to Lobo in James Gunn\u2019s DCU:<\/p>\n

\u201cI think they\u2019re very different because they\u2019re also different characters. I came in on a whisp of an idea on Batman v Superman until Justice League hit.. It was all pretty mapped out by Zack. He had it all very mapped out.<\/p>\n

I only know Lobo\u2019s in this one, and so we\u2019ll see what the future of all that holds. I would love for his own thing to be coming out. I don\u2019t know if there is. I think it\u2019s probably up to the audience and how they feel about it, but I think he\u2019s got his own things mapped out and I\u2019m not privy to any of that.<\/p>\n

\u2026I\u2019m pretty excited. When I got to step into Lobo, I mean, that was a pinch me moment. And my first scene is pretty gnarly. I\u2019m pressed to see another actor pull off that first take, what we did. I\u2019m excited to talk about it because it\u2019s hard. And I grabbed it with gusto and I\u2019m very excited about it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Whether Lobo will become the DCU\u2019s version of the MCU\u2019s Hulk \u2013 ie. a guest star in other people\u2019s films \u2013 is not clear yet. <\/p>\n

Gunn himself has shown off a nod to Martian Manhunter with new photos on Twitter<\/a> with some set design photos showing off the brand \u2018Chocos\u2019 with many suspecting these items pictured will be seen in the upcoming \u201cMan of Tomorrow\u201d film.<\/p>\n

Prime Video will release \u201cThe Wrecking Crew\u201d tomorrow, while \u201cSupergirl\u201d opens in cinemas on June 26th.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Screenshot: DC Studios, Warner Bros.
