Harry Maguire\u2019s contract is set to expire in the summer so Manchester United chiefs have a big decision to make.<\/p>\n

Harry Maguire<\/a> returned from his injury setback just in time to star in Manchester United\u2019s latest wins over Manchester City and Arsenal.<\/p>\n

Alongside Lisandro Martinez as his centre-back partner, Maguire has been excellent<\/a> under Michael Carrick, and he remains a key member of this United squad.<\/p>\n

Paul Scholes hailed Maguire\u2019s \u2018unbelievable\u2019 transformation<\/a> following his incredible performance at The Emirates, but United are months away from losing him as a free agent.<\/p>\n

There have already been reports of Italian interest in Maguire<\/a>, and the United defender is free to discuss with foreign clubs this month.<\/p>\n

It has been made clear that Maguire is open to staying at United<\/a>, but it would require full buy-in from the board and player.<\/p>\n

According to the Daily Mail<\/a>, Carrick is a fan of Maguire, but senior United figures are keen for next season\u2019s minutes to go to Leny Yoro<\/a> and Ayden Heaven<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Therefore, Ineos could lean towards allowing Maguire to leave in the summer.<\/p>\n

The report adds that there is interest from Italian clubs, while there are also a \u201chandful\u201d of Premier League clubs keen on his signature.<\/p>\n

Leny Yoro and Ayden Heaven are Ineos priorities<\/p>\n

Defender duo Yoro and Heaven were both signed by Ineos and the new recruitment team at Old Trafford.<\/p>\n

At 20 and 19 years old respectively, both centre-backs have huge futures ahead of them but have already shown exciting potential in the first team.<\/p>\n

Both Yoro and Heaven find themselves behind Maguire and Martinez in the pecking order, and they will be pushed further out of the picture when Matthijs de Ligt returns to fitness<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Yoro has played 1,200 minutes in the Premier League this season, while Heaven has played just over 750 minutes. However, because United will only play 40 matches across all competitions this season, it\u2019s hard to see where their opportunities will come from.<\/p>\n
