Prince Harry’s Invictus Games Foundation is set to host a brand new awards ceremony in London this September.<\/p>\n

The inaugural Invictus Spirit Gala Dinner & Awards, sponsored by ATCO, has drawn inspiration from the former Endeavour Awards and aims to honour “the remarkable individuals and organisations who embody resilience, service, and the unconquered spirit at the heart of our global community”.<\/p>\n

The Duke of Sussex will serve on the judging panel alongside representatives from the foundation and presenting partner ATCO.<\/p>\n

Those wishing to put forward nominations have until March 8, 2026, with the submission window having opened on January 23.<\/p>\n

Participation in previous Invictus Games events is not a requirement for nomination, according to the foundation. However, candidates must fall into one of two categories to be considered.<\/p>\n

The first group comprises wounded, injured, and sick service personnel or veterans who have incorporated sport or adventure activities into their recovery process.<\/p>\n

Alternatively, individuals from the broader community may be nominated, provided they have made a meaningful contribution to helping wounded, injured, and sick military personnel and veterans recover through sporting activities.<\/p>\n

This dual eligibility structure will ensure recognition extends beyond competitors to those who support the wider recovery community.<\/p>\n

The ceremony will present honours across five distinct categories.<\/p>\n

The Invictus Resilience Award recognises those whose bravery and determination have led to remarkable achievements despite facing significant challenges.<\/p>\n

A Community Award will acknowledge individuals or groups whose collaborative spirit and generosity have strengthened the global Invictus network.<\/p>\n

The Community of Nations Award celebrates those championing sports-based recovery while promoting inclusion across national boundaries.<\/p>\n

Outstanding philanthropic efforts will be recognised through the Champion Award, honouring those who have secured substantial backing for the worldwide Invictus Movement.<\/p>\n

Finally, judges will select one exceptional individual from all shortlisted nominees whose contribution transcends multiple categories and exemplifies the true Invictus spirit.<\/p>\n

The judging panel will bring together representatives from the Invictus Games Foundation, ATCO as the event’s presenting partner, and Prince Harry himself.<\/p>\n

Looking ahead, the Invictus Games will return to British soil in July 2027 when Birmingham takes on hosting duties.<\/p>\n

The event will welcome 550 competitors representing 25 nations, all of whom are wounded, injured, or sick service personnel and veterans.<\/p>\n
