Mortal Kombat Trilogy<\/a> will be included as part of the Mortal Kombat Legacy Kollection<\/a>, which is due out on PS5 and PS4 later this year.<\/p>\n

The 1996 revision of Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3<\/a> was not previously confirmed for the compilation, but was revealed as part of Evo earlier today.<\/p>\n

For those who don\u2019t know, key changes in Mortal Kombat Trilogy included the introduction of the Brutality system and the Aggressor bar, which fills as characters attack. Once full, it grants temporary movement and damage buffs.<\/p>\n

The game originally released on PS1, N64, Saturn, PC, and even ill-fated systems like the Game.com and R-Zone. It\u2019s still not clear which versions will be emulated here, but we\u2019d expect at least the PS1 and N64 versions to feature.<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s the list of games announced so far:<\/p>\n

Developer Digital Eclipse has also announced a selection of physical editions for fans.<\/p>\n

On the PS5, you\u2019ll be able to pick up a standard Blu-ray release with an Atari.com<\/a> exclusive slipcase inspired by a character of your choice. Options include Standard, Scorpion Gold, Reptile Green, Sub-Zero Blue, and Smoke Black. You can pre-order for $59.99.<\/p>\n

Then there\u2019s the Deluxe Edition for $69.99<\/a> which includes the following:<\/p>\n

And finally, Limited Run Games<\/a> is plotting a $149.99 Kollector\u2019s Edition<\/a> which will be available to pre-order from 1st August through 31st August and includes:<\/p>\n

\nA hardcover art and lore book
\nA Scorpion and Sub-Zero pin set
\nA commemorative arcade token with stand
\nA numbered collector\u2019s box<\/p>\n

We still don\u2019t actually have a release date for the game, but a recent leak suggested<\/a> we can expect it on or around 30th September.<\/p>\n
