A royal expert has claimed that Prince Harry has effectively become his wife Meghan Markle\u2019s \u2018spare\u2019 in California.<\/p>\n
Speaking to the Fox News Digital, royal expert Hilary Fordwich said that many who know Harry believe the Duke misses his closest friends in England.<\/p>\n
She said as Meghan is \u2018embracing Hollywood\u2019, Harry has \u201ceffectively become her \u2018spare.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
The royal expert continued Prince Harry still struggles with the spotlight, making him less marketable on his own. <\/p>\n
\u201cAnd as his ongoing legal battles against the media in the U.K. show, he\u2019s leaning into victimhood \u2014 a stance that isn\u2019t appealing in Hollywood, leaving him more of a supporting act.”<\/p>\n
Hilary continued, “I don\u2019t see a major comeback for Harry \u2014 certainly not while he leans into a victim narrative.”<\/p>\n
“The shock value from the royal family\u2019s more lurid revelations has faded. Harry remains trapped in the past.\u201d<\/p>\n
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stepped down as senior royals back in 2020, however, they still use the Duke and Duchess titles.<\/p>\n
However, the expert said, \u201cAnything tied to the royals will always draw some interest, which actually underscores how difficult things are for Harry and Meghan, as even their titles no longer seem enough to attract audiences to lackluster projects.”<\/p>\n
