Meghan Markle has announced a new collaboration ahead of Valentine’s Day, with her As Ever brand joining up with a leading chocolate brand.<\/p>\n

The Duchess of Sussex, 44, has teamed up once again with LA-based chocolate company, Compartes, to prepare a new confectionery for As Ever’s Valentine’s Day collection.<\/p>\n

The 44-year-old’s brand shared a small stop-motion snippet promoting the release.<\/p>\n

Accompanying the video, As Ever wrote: “A love letter in chocolate. Sweet favourites return, plus something brand new.<\/p>\n

Meghan’s last dabble into the chocolate market was met by fierce backlash from consumers.<\/a><\/p>\n

The bars, priced at \u00a39 each, were branded “insane” and “weird” due to their unconventional flavour combinations.<\/p>\n

The Duchess of Sussex revealed three limited edition treats through her As Ever lifestyle brand, incorporating what she described as “signature” ingredients designed to “spark a sweet nostalgia”.<\/p>\n

The range featured botanical-print packaging and includes ingredients such as bee pollen, hemp hearts, and edible flower sprinkles.<\/p>\n

However, the attempt to position the products within the luxury chocolate market was met with backlash from critics who questioned both the unusual taste combinations and the high price point.<\/p>\n

Social media users were quick to voice their displeasure with one critic writing: “She’s got to be joking. $12 for a chocolate bar? With weird [flavours] in it? Like, who ruins chocolate with flower sprinkles? And bee pollen? Leave that for the bees.”<\/p>\n

The same user added: “There’s no way I’d pay $12 for a random chocolate bar with weeds in it. Gross.”<\/p>\n

Another commenter on X declared: “The flavours are just cringeworthy! Sticking that raspberry spread junk in one, flower sprinkles in another!”<\/p>\n

Others expressed disbelief, with one writing: “Was shocked with the flowers!”<\/p>\n

As well as the chocolate bar, As Ever shared the release of a long-awaited item<\/a> as part of its Valentine’s Day collection.<\/p>\n

In a social media post, the brand revealed: “The first launch of our Valentine’s Day Collection is here.<\/p>\n
