{"id":39636,"date":"2025-08-02T03:54:08","date_gmt":"2025-08-02T03:54:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/39636\/"},"modified":"2025-08-02T03:54:08","modified_gmt":"2025-08-02T03:54:08","slug":"felipe-drugovich-to-replace-fernando-alonso-for-fp1-at-hungarian-grand-prix","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/39636\/","title":{"rendered":"Felipe Drugovich to replace Fernando Alonso for FP1 at Hungarian Grand Prix"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Aston Martin have confirmed that Felipe Drugovich will be taking over driving duties from Fernando Alonso for the opening Practice session of the Hungarian Grand Prix weekend.<\/p>\n<p>The 2022 Formula 2 Champion and Aston Martin Reserve Driver will be at the wheel after the team released a statement relating to an injury Alonso sustained following the Belgian Grand Prix one week ago.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;In the days following the Belgian Grand Prix, Fernando Alonso has been managing a muscular injury in his back,\u201d the statement said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs he continues with treatment this morning, he has chosen to sit out of FP1. Felipe Drugovich will drive in FP1 alongside Lance Stroll.
