Charlton Athletic have signed defender Jayden Fevrier on loan from Stockport County until the end of the season and goalkeeper Tiernan Brooks from Gateshead on a permanent deal.<\/p>\n
Fevrier, 22, can operate either as a wing-back or as a winger and is suited to head coach Nathan Jones’ favoured formation of three central defenders and two wing-backs.<\/p>\n
He made 28 appearances in all competitions during the first half of this season for Stockport, scoring twice.<\/p>\n
The signing comes on the same day as Charlton’s former Stockport striker Tanto Olaofe moved back to Edgeley Park, also on a loan deal until the end of the season.<\/p>\n
Fevrier began his career at West Ham before moving to Colchester United in 2022 and was named as the club’s young player of the year in his second season.<\/p>\n
