Man, get me in there. Bring him to Australia.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>In the Filipino&#8217;s only fight down under back in 2017, he fell victim to a highly controversial verdict and Horn was shockingly declared the winner of their bout. <\/p>\n<p>Horn beat Manny by unanimous decision as the scorecards read 115-113, 115-113, and 117-111, but many believed Pacquiao had edged the win. <\/p>\n<p>As for Paro, he briefly held the junior welterweight title after defeating Subriel Matias by unanimous decision in June 2024.<\/p>\n<p>Later that year, during his first title defence, he suffered a defeat via split decision at the hands of Richardson Hitchins.<\/p>\n<p>After bouncing back from his sole career loss to destroy Jonathan Navarro at welterweight via a brutal stoppage win in June, Paro has now set his sights on challenging the biggest names within the division.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"#\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Pacquiao returned far beyond his prime\" height=\"540\" width=\"960\" data-credit=\"Getty\" data-img=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/crop-3399023.jpg\" data-caption=\"Pacquiao returned far beyond his prime\"   loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/crop-3399023.jpg\" role=\"img\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>3<\/p>\n<p>Pacquiao returned far beyond his primeCredit: GettyWho will Manny Pacquiao fight next?<\/p>\n<p>Ultimately it was heartbreak for the veteran, who now faces a crossroads as to what to do next.<\/p>\n<p>While a rematch with Barrios could give him the opportunity to do extend his already impressive record, Pacquiao is man that many want to fight.<\/p>\n<p>There are <a href=\"https:\/\/talksport.com\/boxing\/3398385\/manny-pacquiao-mario-barrios-gervonta-davis-rolly-romero\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">also other options<\/a> including the likes of Gervonta Davis and Rolly Romero.<\/p>\n<p>Pacquiao&#8217;s advisor, Sean Gibbons, made it clear to the\u00a0BoxingScene that he would rather see a new rival for his man instead of pursuing the rematch. <\/p>\n<p>He said: \u201cI don\u2019t see why Barrios again. There\u2019s [Rolando] Romero, \u2018Tank\u2019 Davis.
