A new song written by noughties pop star<\/a> Holly Valance has been removed from Apple Music after it reached the number one spot on Australia<\/a>\u2019s iTunes song chart.<\/p>\n

Valance, 42, teamed up with the country\u2019s One Nation party leader Pauline Hanson to pen a tune for her new satirical film, A Super Progressive Movie, which dropped on Monday to mark Australia Day.<\/p>\n

Kiss Kiss (XX) My Arse \u2013 no doubt a reference to her 2002 single Kiss Kiss, a UK number one hit \u2013 took aim at cancel culture, \u2018woke\u2019 ideology and virtue signalling, opening with the lyrics proclaiming: \u2018You will respect my pronouns.\u2019<\/p>\n

It then begins: \u2018Not all ladies have ovaries, some have a penis \/ They say that I\u2019m a he but I\u2019m a she \/ Cos I gotta V and not a D.\u2019<\/p>\n

With the repeated refrain \u2018I\u2019m a real biological woman\u2019 morphing into \u2018I\u2019m a real diabolical lefty\u2019 and then \u2018I\u2019m a real pathological snowflake\u2019, the song insists: \u2018I\u2019ll intimidate, I\u2019ll indoctrinate.\u2019<\/p>\n

Further lyrics include, \u2018We\u2019ve got two dads on every TV ad \/ No-one wants a hetero cos they\u2019re contraband\u2019 as well as \u2018I don\u2019t care what people say, I\u2019ll never be a him or them or they\u2019.<\/p>\n

The song also touches on other political issues as it remarks, \u2018Fave song \u2013 from the river to the sea \/ No job but I bleed LGBT<\/a>\u2026 Q+, ya bigot\u2019, \u2018Obese with body positivity (you\u2019re fat)\u2019 and \u2018Welcome to the country but it\u2019s not your land (Well who\u2019s is it then?) \/ It\u2019s your wife\u2019s boyfriend [sic]\u2019.<\/p>\n

Kiss Kiss (XX) My Arse was removed from Apple Music on Thursday, after it leapfrogged songs by the likes of Olivia Dean and Harry Styles<\/a> to claim the top spot in Australia. <\/p>\n

Users now get an error message reading \u2018The page you\u2019re looking for can\u2019t be found\u2019 when they look up the track name.<\/p>\n

Apple Music has yet to address the removal publicly.<\/p>\n

Valance kick-started her career in 1999 in the TV soap opera Neighbours<\/a> before pivoting to music and recording two albums as well as taking her career over to LA, where she appeared in TV series Prison Break as Nika Volek, as well as films including Taken with Liam Neeson.<\/p>\n

After taking a professional hiatus in 2013 to prioritise her family, in recent years she has become a right-wing political activist<\/a>.<\/p>\n

A Super Progressive Movie \u2018follows four progressives whose rainbow malfunctions, sending them into a world led by \u2018Prime Minister Hanson\u2019\u2019, according to Sky News Australia<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Hanson shared on social media<\/a> that singer-songwriter \u2018instantly said yes\u2019 when her team reached out to ask her to write a song for the film.<\/p>\n

\u2018A massive shout out to Holly who I know watched the film last night and spat water across the room during one particular scene,\u2019 the Australian senator added on X. \u2018Tells me the jokes landed really well.\u2019<\/p>\n

The singer-songwriter has also been active on the social platform, sharing a screengrab earlier this week which showed Kiss Kiss (XX) My Arse in the number one spot with the caption \u2018whoops\u2019.<\/p>\n

Following it being taken off the platform, she posted on Thursday morning: \u2018Actual liberals are FOR free speech. Libtards\u2026 not so much.\u2019<\/p>\n

Alongside a series of retweets pointing out the type of music still allowed on the platform, such as \u2018rappers idolising violence, assault, drug use, criminal gangs and sexual abuse\u2019, Valance criticised being silenced for having right-wing opinions<\/a>.<\/p>\n
