A selection of hit Disney Plus<\/a> shows are now available for ITVX<\/a> viewers to stream at no extra cost.<\/p>\n

In a \u2018first-of-its-kind\u2019 deal, the two streaming services are joining forces to share a curated and regularly refreshed selection of hit shows<\/a> and movies across both platforms.<\/p>\n

This means that ITVX viewers will be introduced to a \u2018rotating rail\u2019 of Disney Plus content, titled \u2018Taste of Disney+\u2019, starting today, July 16.<\/p>\n

The selection over the coming months includes critically acclaimed and award-winning titles such as The Bear<\/a>, Andor<\/a> and Only Murders in the Building<\/a>, as well as reality hits such as The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives and The Kardashians<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Which Disney Plus titles are coming to ITVX?<\/p>\n

The Disney Plus titles available to stream will be regularly updated, but from today the following 12 titles will appear on ITVX under the title \u2018Taste of Disney+\u2019:<\/p>\n

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives (Season 1)<\/p>\n

Andor returned to Disney Plus for a second season earlier this year, earning an impressive 97% Rotten Tomatoes score and hailed as the \u2018best TV series of 2025<\/a>\u2019 by critics.<\/p>\n

The first season is now available to stream on ITVX for a limited time, and Metro\u2018s TV editor Sabrina Barr<\/a> previously gave it five stars.<\/p>\n

At the same time, Disney Plus customers in the UK will be able to stream some ITV<\/a> content on the platform, under the banner \u2018Taste of ITVX\u2019, at no extra cost.<\/p>\n

This includes multi-award-winning drama Mr Bates vs the Post Office<\/a>, espionage thriller A Spy Among Friends<\/a>, reality hit Love Island<\/a> and popular crime dramas like Endeavour<\/a>, Vera<\/a> and Karen Pirie.<\/p>\n

\nWhich ITV shows are on Disney Plus today?<\/p>\n

The new agreement builds on an existing relationship between the two platforms, with ITV already the free-to-air home of Disney Plus\u2019 Renegade Nell<\/a> and the producer of hit show Rivals<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Kevin Lygo, managing director of media and entertainment at ITV said: \u2018For us, this deal means even more great content for viewers on ITVX, and even more opportunity for viewers to find and enjoy our distinctive titles and services.\u2019<\/p>\n

The move is part of a wider trend of collaboration between streamers and international broadcasters, in what has become a crowded field with the likes of Netflix<\/a>, Amazon Prime Video<\/a> and the BBC<\/a>\u2019s iPlayer to name a few.<\/p>\n

Just last month, Netflix announced an agreement that gives subscribers in France direct access to TF1 channels via the streamer.<\/p>\n

Speaking to Broadcast<\/a>, Disney Plus EMEA general manager Karl Holmes explained the mutual benefits of the content swap with ITV.<\/p>\n

He said: \u2018ITVX skews relatively old, and our heartland is under-55s. One of the challenges we have is that our brands are strong, but if you\u2019re older you think that Disney\u2019s about family and kids.<\/p>\n

\u2018At the same time, we get some of the UK\u2019s biggest shows to put in front of our audiences \u2013 which are less exposed to traditional free-to-air content. That\u2019s great for engagement.\u2019<\/p>\n

Homes added: \u2018We would expect Disney+ to grow and have more subscribers as a consequence. We would also expect ITVX to be more successful.\u2019<\/p>\n

ITVX is free to watch in the UK, while ITVX Premium is available for viewers to watch ad-free for \u00a35.99 per month. Disney Plus subscriptions start at \u00a34.99 per month with ads.<\/p>\n
