Excellent Capcom retro compilation The Disney Afternoon Collection<\/a> is getting two new games \u2013 but they\u2019ll both be exclusive to Nintendo platforms.<\/p>\n

Atari has picked up publishing rights to this release, and is bringing it to both Switch and Switch 2 next month.<\/p>\n

But as part of the process, it\u2019s adding two new titles: Goof Troop<\/a> and Bonkers<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately, we\u2019ve confirmed with the publisher that there are no plans to add these titles to the existing PS4 release \u2013 and it doesn\u2019t look like an updated PS5 version is on the cards either.<\/p>\n

This is particularly disappointing as 1994\u2019s Goof Troop was designed by Shinji Mikami, who\u2019d go on to direct Resident Evil<\/a>. It\u2019s actually a bit of a Super Nintendo hidden gem, with some great puzzles and chunky, vibrant visuals.<\/p>\n

Bonkers we\u2019re less familiar with, but it also released in 1994, and is more of a traditional side-scrolling platformer based on the slapstick cartoon of the same name.<\/p>\n

While there are no plans to bring these two titles to PlayStation right now \u2013 and we appreciate it\u2019s complicated, considering the change in publisher \u2013 we hope Capcom, Disney, and Atari can find a solution in the future.<\/p>\n
