\n\tLionsgate<\/a>\u2019s origin story John Rambo<\/a> has begun production in Bangkok, Thailand, adding five more to the cast led by Noah Centineo.<\/p>\n

\n\tRounding out the ensemble are yao (Sinners), Jason Tobin (A Thousand Blows), Quincy Isaiah<\/a> (Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty), Jefferson White<\/a> (Yellowstone), and Tayme Thapthimthong<\/a> (The White Lotus).<\/p>\n

\n\tJohn Rambo\u00a0takes audiences back, years before the events of\u00a0First Blood, diving deep into the roots and experiences that forged one of the big screen\u2019s most enduring and complex characters.<\/p>\n

\n\tThapthmthong portrayed Gaitok the security guard in Season 3 of The White Lotus. Isaiah was Magic Johnson in Winning Time. Jefferson White, who portrayed Jimmy Hurdstrom in Yellowstone, will also appear in The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping this fall. yao starred in Ryan Coogler\u2019s Sinners as Bo Chow.<\/p>\n

\n\tNoah Centineo (the upcoming\u00a0Street Fighter) stars as the one-man fighting force, under the direction of Jalmari Helander (Sisu, Sisu: Road to Revenge). The film\u2019s screenplay is by Rory Haines and Sohrab Noshirvani (Black Adam, The Mauritanian), and the film is produced by Kevin King Templeton and Les Weldon (Rambo\u00a0&\u00a0Expendables\u00a0franchises),\u00a0Jonathan Yunger (Rambo: Last Blood,\u00a0Expend4bles)\u00a0for Millennium Media,\u00a0Michael Disco\u00a0(San Andreas, Rampage)\u00a0and Angela Russo-Otstot\u00a0(Extraction, The Gray Man)\u00a0for AGBO.\u00a0Executive\u00a0Producers include\u00a0Anthony & Joe Russo (Avengers, Captain America),\u00a0Trevor\u00a0Short (Expendables\u00a0franchise) for Millennium Media,\u00a0Dallas Sonnier (Bone Tomahawk, The Pendragon Cycle: Rise of the Merlin) and Amanda Presmyk (Dragged Across Concrete, Run Hide Fight) for\u00a0Bonfire Legend.\u00a0The film will be distributed by Lionsgate.<\/p>\n
