At this point, it is clear that Konami intends to heavily focus on Silent Hill again<\/a>. For this reason, it comes as no surprise that another new game in the series is currently in development, alongside the already announced remake of the first Silent Hill.<\/a><\/p>\n As part of the documents released with Konami\u2019s third-quarter financial results, which were very positive for the company, including its video game business, Konami confirmed that a brand new series entry is in development. The game has not yet been revealed, but it will be officially presented in the future.<\/p>\n \u201cAs a continuation of our ongoing efforts, we are currently developing a brand-new title in the SILENT HILL series, as well as a remake of the first installment, SILENT HILL,\u201d Konami stated in its published documents.<\/p>\n The remake was announced several months ago and is being developed by Bloober Team, which continues its strong collaboration with Konami<\/a> after the success of Silent Hill 2 Remake. That project managed to win over both critics and players, despite early concerns.<\/p>\n Additionally, the upcoming new\u00a0title is expected to be multiplatform from day one, as Konami\u2019s statement specifically mentions the goal of reaching players on as many devices as possible.<\/p>\n This confirms Konami\u2019s long-term plan to relaunch the beloved series\u00a0as a major, multi-project franchise rather than a single standalone release.<\/p>\n
