Update [Sun 1st Feb 2026, 8am]: Capcom has now selected the “top 20” fan-made designs for its Mega Man: Dual Override<\/a> Robot Master Design Contest. Voting has also gone live – allowing Capcom ID users to vote for the design they “like best”.<\/p>\n

As a recap, this competition asked fans to submit a unique design for a Robot Master with a “giant suction arm”, which will be featured in the new game. Here’s a look at the 20 fan-made designs that made this round. You can get a closer look at each design<\/a> on Capcom’s Mega Man contest page.<\/p>\n

Once again, voting is open from now until 5th February 2026 and requires a Capcom ID<\/a> to participate. Users who vote will also receive the following social media icons as a reward:<\/p>\n

When Capcom lifted the lid onMega Man: Dual Override<\/a> at the end of last year, it also announced a new Robot Master Design Contest.<\/p>\n

This latest competition asked fans to submit a unique design for a Robot Master with a “giant suction arm” and provided an existing template to work off. As it’s now past 1st January 2026, this contest has officially concluded.<\/p>\n

Capcom has followed this up with an update, thanking fans for their “wonderful” submissions, and mentioning how staff will now review the entries. From there, 20 designs are selected to progress to the next round of voting, and then fans will vote in their “top 6” through the CAPCOM ID system.<\/p>\n

This will get underway later this month on 30th January 2026, and there’ll even be a voting participation reward in the form of a special icon.<\/p>\n

After the top six are selected, Capcom will pick the best design, and this design will be used in Mega Man: Dual Override. You can see the prizes for the winners below along with an example entry.<\/p>\n

As of January 1 at 11:59PM PT, the Mega Man: Dual Override Robot Master Design Contest has concluded.<\/p>\n
