On a poll we posted prior to the game, we asked fans how confident they were about meeting Fulham, and the response was unanimous.<\/p>\n
Yes, of course, we will win \u2013 88.5%No, we will drop points \u2013 11.5%<\/p>\n
This is a resounding vote of confidence for Carrick\u2019s side and shows the respect and belief that he has restored within the fanbase already, despite only being here two and a half weeks.<\/p>\n

United fans weren\u2019t just confident in the vote, voicing their opinions in the comments.<\/p>\n
\u201cCautiously optimistic\u2026 we thrived as underdogs against City and Arsenal, but this is a new test altogether where Carrick is expected to win\u201d, one fan wrote.<\/p>\n
While a second went one further, \u201cYes, I have full confidence that we will win the match\u201d.<\/p>\n
A third added, \u201cWary of saying we will definitely win, but I have more confidence than I did a month ago, if that helps. I\u2019m predicting three points!\u201d<\/p>\n

Another was very confident, \u201cOf course. MU is back to the feared team to play against, especially at Old Trafford.\u201d<\/p>\n
This fan was extremely confident, citing the two prior wins. \u201cI\u2019m confident. We didn\u2019t just get lucky against City and Arsenal; we beat them with good play, good tactics, and good goals. I\u2019ve no reason to believe a guy who worked out how to make both the top sides in the country look mid-table can\u2019t do it against an actual mid-table side\u201d.<\/p>\n
A final fan had one specific player in mind, \u201cYes, of course Man Utd will win this Sunday with Fulham.. I Love To See Our Smiling Cunha play\u201d.<\/p>\n
However, it wasn\u2019t all confidence, as one warned of false dawns. \u201cSort of! On current form, I\u2019m expecting another quality performance. But I\u2019ve also seen enough false dawns to fear the opposite\u201d.<\/p>\n
