Taylor Swift<\/a> is rumored to be skipping this year as well, and it\u2019s all because of a quote that is circulating.<\/p>\n

Grammys executive producer Ben Winston confirmed that the \u201cCruel Summer\u201d singer won\u2019t be there despite a rumor published by HITS saying otherwise. <\/p>\n

Ironically, Winston spoke with HITS<\/a> to clear up the rumor they started, saying, \u201cThe only reason people think Taylor might be performing or coming is because HITS decided to print it this week and put it in their HITS List, and it was picked up globally. But HITS just totally made that up. And now I am getting asked about it by you, as if it\u2019s a real thing, when it was made up in your office! That really is a full-circle rumor!\u201d<\/p>\n

Taylor also didn\u2019t release any music within this year\u2019s eligibility period, with her latest album The Life of the Showgirl<\/a> releasing over a month after the August 30, 2025 cutoff date.<\/p>\n
