In the promo, Meryl Streep\u2019s Miranda Priestly and her right-hand man Nigel, played by Stanley Tucci, are seen reuniting with Anne Hathaway\u2019s Andy and, later, Emily Blunt\u2019s Emily.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dcr-130mj7b\">Priestly remembers neither, nor even her habit of referring to all her fashion magazine assistants as Emily \u2013 presumably on account of her withering alpha-editor status rather than, say, dementia.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dcr-130mj7b\">The film\u2019s teaser trailer, which was released in November, was reportedly the most-viewed comedy trailer in 15 years, with 181.5m views on YouTube in its first 24 hours. The new full-length trailer hit 2.8m views on YouTube in its first nine hours.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p class=\"dcr-130mj7b\">The sequel to the 2006 hit will be released in Australia on 30 April, and the UK and US on 1 May. Joining the cast are <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/culture\/kenneth-branagh\" data-link-name=\"in body link\" data-component=\"auto-linked-tag\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Kenneth Branagh<\/a>, as Priestly\u2019s new boyfriend, as well as Sydney Sweeney, Lucy Liu, Justin Theroux, BJ Novak and Pauline Chalamet.
