Preston Heartbeat<\/a> has recently celebrated member Neville through his 25-year loyalty to the charity.<\/p>\n \t
The North West\u2019s leading cardiac rehabilitation charity celebrated 89-year-old Neville after he first joined 25 years ago following a heart attack, showing a sheer amount of resilience, and the long-term benefits of cardiac rehabilitation.<\/p>\n Showing consistency through attending weekly exercise classes at Preston North End, <\/a>Neville participates in both cardiovascular and resistance training, tailored completely to him and his needs.<\/p>\n Read more: \u201cWe\u2019re two overweight guys on a mission\u201d South Ribble pair aim for 24-hour Tough Mudder challenge<\/a><\/p>\n Sally, one of Heartbeat\u2019s specialist instructors said: \u201cNeville is a pleasure to have in class.<\/p>\n \u201cHe brings so much laughter and wisdom to the room. I look forward to his weekly Preston North End match reports (win, lose, or draw) and, of course, his song requests. Supporting Neville over the past few years has been a real privilege.\u201d<\/p>\n Neville\u2019s story is an example of the charity\u2019s main mission, to help people live longer and happier.<\/p>\n When talking about his experience with the charity, Neville said:\u00a0\u201cHeartbeat is wonderful \u2014 it has kept me alive.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ve met new friends, and it\u2019s a great way to gain fellowship. The staff are absolutely superb. I\u2019m going to keep coming for as long as I can. I\u2019m 89 now and in my 90th year!
