Evil has always had a name in the live-action short film promoting Resident Evil Requiem.<\/p>\n

Genre favorite Maika Monroe (Longlegs, It Follows) stars in the three and a half-minute ad directed by Rich Lee (War of the Worlds<\/a> 2025).<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat I loved about it was it had a lot of heart,\u201d Monroe tells EW<\/a>. \u201cIt\u2019s really heartbreaking, the story that you\u2019re watching unfold. I just thought it was a really interesting and a new way to portray this video game coming out.\u201d<\/p>\n
