Aston Martin Lagonda Global Holdings Plc, the listed carmaker, said today that it has \u201cagreed to sell its minority stake\u201d in the racing team for about $146M. Aston Martin CEO Adrian Hallmark said that a binding letter of intent \u201chas been signed with a buyer\u201d at a $3.2B valuation. He declined to name the buyer, saying that the deal \u201chad yet to complete.\u201d The bumper price tag \u201cunderscores the demand from investors to buy into the sport, whose popularity has soared on the back of\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportsbusinessjournal.com\/Articles\/2025\/07\/18\/drive-to-survive-audience-slowing-on-netflix-while-wwe-raw-looks-to-be-settling-in\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.sportsbusinessjournal.com\/Articles\/2025\/07\/18\/drive-to-survive-audience-slowing-on-netflix-while-wwe-raw-looks-to-be-settling-in\/\">Netflix\u2019s \u201cDrive to Survive,\u201d<\/a> particularly in the U.S. The valuation agreed would be a \u201csignificant step up\u201d from Aston Martin\u2019s last stake sale.
