\n A Greater Manchester Police (GMP) spokesperson told The Bolton News: \u201cShortly before 3.30pm this afternoon (Wednesday, February 4) officers were called to reports of a dog attack on Roseneath Road, Bolton.\n<\/p>\n
\n \u201cEmergency services attended and a 10-year-old girl was taken to hospital with serious injuries, believed to be life-changing.\n<\/p>\n
\n \u201cArmed Response Vehicles and GMP Dog Unit were deployed, and two dogs have been detained.\n<\/p>\n
\n \u201cA 28-year-old man and a 52-year-old woman have been arrested on suspicion of possessing a dog dangerously out of control, and are currently in custody.\n<\/p>\n
\n \u201cOfficers will remain in the area as they conduct further enquiries and to provide reassurance to the community.\u201d\n<\/p>\n

\n In footage shared with The Bolton News, Roseneath Road was taped off, with a police car blocking the road.\n<\/p>\n
\n Three other police vehicles could be seen further down the residential street.\n<\/p>\n
