DROP-in-and-chat vaccination clinics are being held in Inverclyde later this month.<\/p>\n

The informal sessions are designed to give people the chance to speak directly with immunisation nurses, whether they have questions about eligibility, underlying health conditions, or are supporting someone with additional needs.<\/p>\n

Those eligible are also able to get their shingles, pneumococcal or flu vaccination on the day if they choose to do so.<\/p>\n

The clinics will be at Port Glasgow Health Centre, Bay Street, on Sunday 22 February, and Broomhill Gardens, 46 Mearns Street, Greenock, on Thursday, 26 February, both from 9am to 7pm.<\/p>\n

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde director of public health, Dr Emilia Crighton said: \u201cPeople who drop-in mostly ask about their existing medications or conditions, misplaced appointment times, or vaccinations they\u2019ve had previously. But they can ask anything vaccine related!<\/p>\n

\u201cOur goal is to break down as many barriers as possible when it comes to preventative healthcare. These clinics offer a safe space for anyone to come and do that.<\/p>\n

Perhaps you think they\u2019re eligible but you\u2019re unsure or maybe you\u2019re not sure what the virus you\u2019re protecting against is, its symptoms and how it could impact you.
