The fork steerer is stamped with \u2018L. Fignon\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>You may like<\/p>\n<p>The frameset was built under the leadership of Gerald O\u2019Donovan, who lead the Special Development Unit of the Lightweight Division at Raleigh HQ in Nottingham. These frames gained a reputation for being stiff but ultimately unreliable, with the bonded lugs, at times, coming apart.<\/p>\n<p class=\"vanilla-image-block\" style=\"padding-top:69.84%;\">\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/kVXEahPhFsvZWqWener3kY.jpg\" alt=\"Look Pedals on Laurent Fignon's Raleigh\"   loading=\"lazy\" data-new-v2-image=\"true\" data-original-mos=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/kVXEahPhFsvZWqWener3kY.jpg\" data-pin-media=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/kVXEahPhFsvZWqWener3kY.jpg\" class=\"inline\"\/>\n<\/p>\n<p>(Image credit: Future)<\/p>\n<p id=\"e89bda14-3995-4872-9f02-b7673cf480fa\">The accompanying groupset, <a data-analytics-id=\"inline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cyclingweekly.com\/tag\/campagnolo\" data-auto-tag-linker=\"true\" data-url=\"https:\/\/www.cyclingweekly.com\/tag\/campagnolo\" data-hl-processed=\"none\" data-mrf-recirculation=\"inline-link\" data-before-rewrite-localise=\"https:\/\/www.cyclingweekly.com\/tag\/campagnolo\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Campagnolo<\/a> C-Record, is rather apt. Like the Dyna Tech frame the featured Delta brakes were also short lived, cutting edge tech that burned brightly then quickly fizzled out due to reliability issues. The Record groupset extends to the small flange quick release hubs that are laced to Wolber 20mm Sprint rims shod with the French brand\u2019s \u2018Tubeless 22\u2019 tubular tyres.<\/p>\n<p><a id=\"elk-seasonal\" class=\"paywall\" aria-hidden=\"true\"\/><\/p>\n<p id=\"dcbe825f-5610-440c-8801-767d7b5f4594-0\">Other components of note include the ITM Super Italia Pro 260 Racing bars and stem and the Selle Italia Turbo saddle.
