Chart-topping boyband JLS are the latest act to headline a new festival in Kent this summer.<\/p>\n

The group will join the likes of Madness and Becky Hill<\/a> to perform at Canterbury Live, an upcoming music weekender that is set to attract up to 40,000 people for three open-air concerts.<\/p>\n

The group, who rose to fame on TV singing competition The X Factor in 2008 and reached the final alongside Alexandra Burke, achieved five No. 1 singles, including Beat Again and Everybody in Love, before their split in 2013.<\/p>\n

Members Aston Merrygold, Marvin Humes, Orits\u00e9 Williams and JB Gill \u2013 who now lives on an 11-acre farm in Sevenoaks<\/a> \u2013 reunited in 2020 and announced a new UK arena tour.<\/p>\n

They will be joined at their Canterbury gig by fellow boyband The Wanted 2.0, singer Pixie Lotte and BBC Radio One hosts Ricky and Melvin.<\/p>\n

JLS will perform at the St Lawrence Ground on Friday, August 7.<\/p>\n
