<\/p>\nTottenham travel to take on Manchester United at Old Trafford in Saturday’s early Premier League kick-off<\/p>\n

Tottenham Hotspur are back in Premier League<\/a> action this weekend as they look to build on a second half comeback against Manchester City.<\/p>\n A double from Dominic Solanke<\/a> in the second half saw Spurs come back from a 2-0 half time deficit to secure a 2-2 draw<\/a>.<\/p>\n It means that the team are unbeaten in their last four games in all competitions, although they are winless in the Premier League in their last six games. Tottenham<\/a> sit in 14th in the Premier League table, nine points clear of the relegation zone.<\/p>\n They will look to improve their position when they travel to take on Manchester United at Old Trafford. Michael Carrick’s team have won each of their last three games under their interim manager.<\/p>\n Before the encounter at Old Trafford, both managers have provided an update<\/a> on their squad’s fitness.<\/p>\n Tottenham continue to grapple with an extensive injury list. There remains uncertainty surrounding striker Solanke’s fitness, after he was withdrawn during the stalemate with Man City following an ankle complaint.<\/p>\n After the match, the forward told Sky Sports: “I’ll be good. Spurs<\/a> will be missing Pedro Porro, Mohammed Kudus, Lucas Bergvall, Richarlison, Rodrigo Bentancur, Dejan Kulusevski, James Maddison, Ben Davies, and Kevin Danso, as the casualty list continues to mount.<\/p>\n On a more positive note for Spurs, manager Thomas Frank<\/a> has confirmed that defenders Micky van de Ven and Cristian Romero will be fit for the encounter with United. They could potentially be accompanied by full-back Djed Spence.<\/p>\n “So Micky is good, [he] trained today,” the Spurs boss said. “He is available for selection for Saturday.<\/p>\n “So it’s good. Djed Spence is getting closer. It will be a little bit touch and go, but there is a good chance that he will be ready.”<\/p>\n For Manchester United, Carrick has also given an update, with Matthijs de Ligt confirmed as missing the match.<\/p>\n The centre-back has been absent for the previous 12 fixtures across all competitions with a back complaint. Carrick has confirmed that the clash against Tottenham will arrive ‘too soon’ for the defender.<\/a><\/p>\n “Matta [De Ligt], he’s working his way back, taking good steps and improving,” the United interim boss said in his pre-match press conference. “It’s a little bit too soon at the moment but, hopefully, it won’t be too long [before De Ligt is back].”<\/p>\n He could be accompanied on the sidelines by midfielder Mason Mount<\/a>, who was unavailable for the victory over Fulham after sustaining a knock in training. It renders him a significant doubt for this weekend’s clash.<\/p>\n “Probably, Mason [will be available] sooner [than De Ligt],” Carrick said. “He’s not too far away really. We’re hopeful it won’t be too long.”<\/p>\n Another player who will remain sidelined is full-back Patrick Dorgu. He sustained a hamstring problem during the match against Arsenal.<\/p>\n Speaking last week, Carrick confirmed the injury would keep him out for ‘a few weeks’.
