It has amassed about 130,000 followers on social media and generated more than 200 million views.<\/p>\n<p>The anonymous creator has cornered the market for fast-turnaround political satire with deftly executed videos that have earned him thousands of followers across social media.<\/p>\n<p>His modus operandi? To use sophisticated AI tools to portray MPs in incongruous scenarios and tackle topical issues.<\/p>\n<p class=\"responsive__Paragraph-sc-1pktst5-0 gaEeqC\">Within 90 minutes of this week\u2019s session ending, the commentator had uploaded a video depicting Starmer as a Doctor Who dalek melting down in front of a laughing <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetimes.com\/topic\/rachel-reeves\" class=\"link__RespLink-sc-1ocvixa-0 csWvlP\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Rachel Reeves<\/a>, the chancellor.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"A woman holding a &quot;Grand Theft Austerity&quot; game box in an AI-generated video from The Crewkerne Gazette.\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/\/ec75106d-ae43-4157-92e9-a6273ab420de.jpg\" class=\"responsive-sc-1nnon4d-0 bAbKns\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Rachel Reeves also features in a parody of the video game Grand Theft Auto<\/p>\n<p class=\"responsive__Paragraph-sc-1pktst5-0 gaEeqC\">The same day, a rap music video was uploaded in which <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetimes.com\/topic\/kemi-badenoch\" class=\"link__RespLink-sc-1ocvixa-0 csWvlP\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Kemi Badenoch<\/a>, the Tory leader, dressed in a leopard skin fur coat, delivered a scathing takedown of Starmer concerning his <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetimes.com\/topic\/china\" class=\"link__RespLink-sc-1ocvixa-0 csWvlP\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">China<\/a> trip.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Video montage of AI politicians\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/\/bc911600-f228-4b96-87b7-769ba0a2b850.jpg\" class=\"responsive-sc-1nnon4d-0 bAbKns\"\/><\/p>\n<p>A rapping Badenoch with her front bench<\/p>\n<p class=\"responsive__Paragraph-sc-1pktst5-0 gaEeqC\">\u201cOver a barrel, flag lowered, head bowed, every deal he signs leaves the nation less proud,\u201d she raps while flanked by a nodding <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetimes.com\/topic\/priti-patel\" class=\"link__RespLink-sc-1ocvixa-0 csWvlP\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Dame Priti Patel<\/a>, the shadow foreign secretary, and James Cartlidge, the shadow defence secretary. \u201cWeak hand, weak stance, world sees the slide, negotiates Britain to the back of the line.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"responsive__Paragraph-sc-1pktst5-0 gaEeqC\">The videos are cutting through. President Trump\u2019s performance of BBC Billion (Make \u2018Em Pay) has generated more than 260,000 views, just ahead of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetimes.com\/topic\/keir-starmer\" class=\"link__RespLink-sc-1ocvixa-0 csWvlP\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Starmer<\/a> and Mandelson\u2019s duet Islands in the Epstein. He said: \u201cThere was one mishap and scandal after another which left me thinking, \u2018Where is the comedy? Why are none of the mainstream comedians covering this?\u2019<\/p>\n<p class=\"responsive__Paragraph-sc-1pktst5-0 gaEeqC\">\u201cMost comedians are left-leaning socialists and it seemed like they are all focused on Trump and what\u2019s happening in America. It was an ideal space to begin implementing the technology that I had to engage with the British people.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Two men in &quot;Make Crewkerne Great Again&quot; hats and &quot;The Crewkerne Gazette&quot; hoodies stand in front of a building.\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/\/3650c3df-1573-4704-9914-814e5f8b7303.jpg\" class=\"responsive-sc-1nnon4d-0 bAbKns\"\/><\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Crewkerne Gazette\u201d in Maga garb<\/p>\n<p class=\"responsive__Paragraph-sc-1pktst5-0 gaEeqC\">Crewkerne said that although his personal politics oscillated between the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetimes.com\/topic\/conservative-party\" class=\"link__RespLink-sc-1ocvixa-0 csWvlP\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Conservatives<\/a> and Reform and he received a Christmas card from Badenoch, no party was off limits.<\/p>\n<p class=\"responsive__Paragraph-sc-1pktst5-0 gaEeqC\">Although his primary ambition was to make people laugh, Crewkerne said the content was having an impact in Westminster.<\/p>\n<p class=\"responsive__Paragraph-sc-1pktst5-0 gaEeqC\">He claimed some credit for contributing to the departure of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetimes.com\/topic\/angela-rayner\" class=\"link__RespLink-sc-1ocvixa-0 csWvlP\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Angela Rayner<\/a>, the Labour deputy leader, last year.<\/p>\n<p class=\"responsive__Paragraph-sc-1pktst5-0 gaEeqC\">\u201cOur \u2018How many homes can Rayner buy\u2019 video got 12 million views and was being laughed about in a cabinet meeting,\u201d he said. \u201cIt got to the position where she was being so completely ridiculed that she had no choice but to resign.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"responsive__Paragraph-sc-1pktst5-0 gaEeqC\">Andrew Griffith, the shadow business secretary, who has featured in a Gucci tracksuit opposite David \u201cLammy\u201d Dodger, has called for Crewkerne to win a Bafta award.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"A smiling man wearing a white fur coat and a large gold chain with a medallion, standing at a podium with &quot;REFORM UK&quot; written on it.\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/\/b85248e0-b67e-445a-b63d-08c576c00226.jpg\" class=\"responsive-sc-1nnon4d-0 bAbKns\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Robert Jenrick is not spared mockery<\/p>\n<p class=\"responsive__Paragraph-sc-1pktst5-0 gaEeqC\">However, Crewkerne has no plans to reveal his identity despite preparing to launch a political pub crawl-themed podcast. \u201cHaving your name out there dilutes what we\u2019re trying to achieve \u2014 which is to make people laugh,\u201d he said. \u201cAnd after the arrest of Graham Linehan over his tweets, there\u2019s a lot of uncertainty about how the government is going to use the Online Safety Act to come after opponents.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"responsive__Paragraph-sc-1pktst5-0 gaEeqC\">Crewkerne has received cross-party support helped by the fact that the videos are clearly AI parodies with no attempt to stray into harmful deepfake disinformation territory.<\/p>\n<p class=\"responsive__Paragraph-sc-1pktst5-0 gaEeqC\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetimes.com\/topic\/jacob-rees-mogg\" class=\"link__RespLink-sc-1ocvixa-0 csWvlP\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Sir Jacob Rees-Mogg<\/a> said that \u201cthese Crewkerne people \u2026 from Somerset\u201d had prompted him to challenge <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetimes.com\/topic\/nigel-farage\" class=\"link__RespLink-sc-1ocvixa-0 csWvlP\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Nigel Farage<\/a> to a contest.<\/p>\n<p class=\"responsive__Paragraph-sc-1pktst5-0 gaEeqC\">\u201cThey have done something on you and something on me dancing,\u201d Rees-Mogg told the Reform leader on GB News. \u201cSo I am proposing a dance-off \u2014 the loser has to join the other\u2019s party.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"responsive__Paragraph-sc-1pktst5-0 gaEeqC\">Adam Dance, the MP for Yeovil, said the content had engaged people in politics. He told the BBC: \u201cI have spoken to a lot of younger people who have seen this content and understand more who the leaders are. Satire can act as a release valve for those who are despairing.
