Pressure is said to be mounting on head coach Sean Dyche as Nottingham Forest\u2019s Premier League<\/a> status hangs in the balance.<\/p>\n The Reds <\/a>squandered an opportunity to move nine points clear of the relegation zone when they were well beaten by Leeds United on Friday night. The two sides had been level on points prior to kick-off at Elland Road, but it was the hosts who increased their buffer over the bottom three with a comfortable 3-1 win.<\/p>\n To make matters worse for Forest, West Ham United closed the gap on Dyche\u2019s side to just three points with their 2-0 victory away to Burnley on Saturday. It makes for a huge game at the City Ground<\/a> on Wednesday night, when bottom-of-the-table Wolverhampton Wanderers will be the visitors.<\/p>\n Ahead of that clash, Dyche<\/a> is said to be \u201cunder increasing pressure\u201d as the Reds remain in a battle for survival. It has been claimed by talkSPORT,<\/a> owner Evangelos Marinakis expected \u201ca bigger upturn\u201d in the team\u2019s results under their third manager of the season.<\/p>\n Dyche was appointed in October after the disastrous 39-day tenure of Ange Postecoglou.<\/a> Prior to the former Tottenham Hotspur chief\u2019s short spell at the helm, Nuno Espirito Santo had been dismissed three games into the campaign amid a falling-out behind the scenes.<\/p>\n Now in charge of West Ham, it appears likely Nuno<\/a> will influence his former club\u2019s fate one way or another. The Hammers host Manchester United on Tuesday, so could further close the gap or be level on points with the Reds by the time they take on Wolves.<\/p>\n The loss to Leeds<\/a> ended a mini unbeaten run for Dyche\u2019s men.
