Abi Webster<\/a> (Sally Carman<\/a>) is currently in a dilemma in Coronation Street<\/a> as she finds herself torn between her husband Kevin (Michael Le Vell) and his brother Carl (Jonathan Howard).\u00a0<\/p>\n Abi and Carl were instantly attracted to each other<\/a> when they met by chance when he first turned up in Weatherfield, but on finding out he was her brother-in-law, Abi has tried to resist the temptation of Carl. This hasn\u2019t stopped him trying, though.\u00a0<\/p>\n Kevin recently got wind that something was either going on or was about to go on between his wife and brother, and in an attempt to make Abi stay with him he pretended that his cancer treatment wasn\u2019t working<\/a>. In reality he\u2019d been given the all-clear.\u00a0<\/p>\n Although Carl found out about Kevin\u2019s lie, it was Tyrone (Alan Halsall) who ended up telling Abi as he wanted to stop her worrying Jack (Kyran Bowes) by telling him that Kevin was still ill. <\/p>\n \t\t Kevin admitted what he\u2019d done and why, but Abi was disgusted by his actions and went straight to Carl, where the two finally gave in to their feelings for each other.\u00a0<\/p>\n Kevin had some ammunition against Carl, though, as he knew that he was involved in a stolen car scam and threatened to go to the police if Carl didn\u2019t end things with Abi. Kevin also sacked Carl from the garage<\/a> and Carl agreed to leave Weatherfield, only for Debbie (Sue Devaney) to persuade him to stay.\u00a0<\/p>\n In upcoming episodes Abi finds herself covering for Kevin as he tells people he\u2019s been given the all-clear from his cancer. Carl admits he\u2019s been doing dodgy MOT\u2019s for Fiona from Kevin\u2019s garage.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n Abi\u2019s shocked to discover that Kevin was aware of what Carl was up to, and she confronts Carl about it. He replies that Kevin agreed not to report him on the condition that Carl kept quiet to Abi about Kevin lying about his cancer status.\u00a0<\/p>\n Abi is furious when she realises that Kevin is still lying to her, and if he was hoping that his actions would keep his wife by his side he\u2019s very wrong.
