Tottenham could buy out Daniel Levy amid his continued indirect investment in the Premier League club.<\/p>\n
That is according to ex-Everton, Aston Villa, and Aberdeen chief executive Keith Wyness, speaking exclusively to\u00a0Football Insider, who states there is a \u201cchance\u201d Spurs\u2019 owners could buy Levy\u2019s stake.<\/p>\n
Spurs\u2019 owners may not be able to block who Levy sells his stake<\/a> to, with the 64-year-old valuing it up to \u00a31billion.<\/p>\n Levy could agree a deal for his stake in Spurs at \u00a3800million<\/a>, with it not coming with any voting rights or influence at the club. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n \u2018Tottenham need unity to go forward\u2019<\/p>\n Everton\u2019s former chief\u00a0Keith Wyness<\/a>\u00a0\u2013 who served as CEO at Goodison Park between 2004 and 2009 and now runs a football consultancy advising elite clubs \u2013 believes Spurs<\/a> fans should keep an eye on developments at the club.<\/p>\n Speaking on the new edition of\u00a0Football Insider\u2018s Inside Track podcast<\/a>, Wyness thinks it would be beneficial for Spurs to have \u201cfewer voices running things.\u201d<\/p>\n He told\u00a0Football Insider\u2018s Inside Track podcast: \u201cI think there is a chance of\u00a0the Lewis family buying Levy\u2019s shares, but I think it might suit them better, as I say, to find somebody that they either know or can work with quite well. <\/p>\n MORE FOOTBALL INSIDER STORIES<\/p>\n \u201cI think that would be\u00a0their\u00a0best solution. But yes, there is still that\u00a0option. And as I say,\u00a0it would seem that the\u00a0Hong Kong story could be planted as a bit of a stalking horse to force the activity one way or another. <\/p>\n \u201cBut\u00a0it\u2019s\u00a0a story worth watching for Spurs fans and\u00a0seeing\u00a0how that goes, because getting a harmonious\u00a0group at the top is so important, as\u00a0I\u2019ve\u00a0mentioned many times at football clubs, and having as few voices running things\u00a0makes it all the better. <\/p>\n \u201cAnd if you start having split boardrooms and different meetings, it gets very, very tough. Spurs need that unity to be able to go forward after many years. I mean, Daniel as a single voice really controlling things, but\u00a0they\u2019ve\u00a0got to get back to not having diverse groups.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cThey\u2019ve\u00a0got\u00a0to get back to that single voice, even though\u00a0it\u2019s\u00a0taking it in a different direction than they believe that Daniel was taking it.\u00a0It\u2019s\u00a0still important\u00a0there\u2019s\u00a0only one single voice and one hand on the tiller.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n Cristian Romero is also in the spotlight at Spurs following his red card in their 2-0 defeat against Manchester United<\/a>.<\/p>\n There have been calls for Spurs to strip Romero of the captaincy<\/a>, with the 27-year-old having been sent off six times since his debut for the club in 2021.<\/p>\n![\"Daniel](\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/daniel-levy-happy-1024x674.jpg\")
