Following the confirmation of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth<\/a> for Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2, the new Streamlined Progression settings included in the port have now been announced for PS5<\/a>.<\/p>\n

These new options will be patched into the PS5 version upon the launch of the two upcoming versions, which have been scheduled in for 3rd June 2026. These features are mostly the same as what Final Fantasy 7 Remake received when it was also ported to other systems, but there’s a new one on top: the ability to set your damage to 9,999 in the minigames.<\/p>\n

Here’s the full list of the Streamlined Progression options:<\/p>\n

As of yesterday, Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth also received a permanent price drop, bringing it in line with what Square Enix is charging for the ports. It’s now \u00a349.99 \/ $49.99 on the PS Store<\/a>.<\/p>\n

It’s worth noting Trophies in Final Fantasy 7 Remake were largely unaffected when it got the Streamlined Progression update, so this patch for Rebirth could make obtaining its Platinum Trophy considerably easier for you.
