{"id":418645,"date":"2026-02-10T20:41:11","date_gmt":"2026-02-10T20:41:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/418645\/"},"modified":"2026-02-10T20:41:11","modified_gmt":"2026-02-10T20:41:11","slug":"plymouth-teacher-who-had-sex-with-pupils-jailed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/418645\/","title":{"rendered":"Plymouth teacher who had sex with pupils jailed"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">A teacher who had sex with two school pupils has been sentenced to more than three years in jail.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">Anthony Redmond, 54, of Fort Austin Avenue in Plymouth, Devon, was found guilty at Plymouth Crown Court of seven counts of abuse a position of trust by engaging in sexual activity.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">Three of the charges related to intercourse, and one count of indecency with a child.
