The most iconic name in motorcycling, Ducati, has teamed up with the current gold standard in motorcycle phone mounts, Quad Lock, to produce two limited-edition cases. The range is called the Limited-Edition Ducati Quad Lock MAG Case Collection<\/a>\u2014try saying that three times fast\u2014and celebrates Ducati’s Corse Edition and the Bologna firm’s 100th anniversary. Of course, “limited-edition” means when these cases are sold out, they’re gone.<\/p>\n

Dom Storey, Head of Global Sports Marketing at Quad Lock, said this about the collaboration, “Ducati is one of the most iconic names in motorcycling \u2026 We\u2019ve built Quad Lock by focusing on practical, rider-first design. This collaboration brings that approach together with Ducati\u2019s heritage in a way that feels genuinely aligned: performance-led, purposeful, and made for the road.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to Quad Lock, both of the limited-edition designs feature “Performance honed in every race and a century of Italian passion. Quad Lock and Ducati join forces to celebrate tradition and innovation and accompany you on all your adventures.” To be fair, I don’t see any features on these cases that are any more performance-oriented than a regular phone case from the brand, but the artwork certainly looks cool, particularly on the Ducati 100 Years Edition.<\/p>\n

Both of the special-edition cases seamlessly slot into Quad Lock’s product range and will work with any existing phone case mount you have. So, whether you’re ripping a Desert X<\/a> on the BDR<\/a> or a Street Fighter on your favorite canyon road, have no fear about slipping one of these cases into your rotation. But, like, any limited-edition product, you’ll have to pay what some consider to be over the odds.\u00a0<\/p>\n

A regular Quad Lock Mag case will set you back $39.99, but if you want to get your hands on a limited-edition one with Ducati graphics, it’ll set you back nearly twice as much, at $59.99. But this isn’t a product that you buy because it’s the most practical or cost-effective.<\/p>\n

These cases are for brand-loyal riders who love nothing more than the bullets out of Bologna, that is to say, if you buy this and don’t ride a Ducati, I think you’ll look very silly. Ducati owners amongst us: do either of these cases tickle you enough to drop $60?<\/p>\n
