According to his LinkedIn, he spent 17 years at <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.efinancialcareers.com\/news\/g-research-pay\">G-Research<\/a>, predominantly as a software development manager after joining from Citi. Later in his tenure, he also worked in operations analysis and became the principal customer representative for its trading platform.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Paceteq was co-founded by F1 quant pioneer Neil Martin, formerly head strategist for Ferrari. It focuses on providing real-time data insights for motorsports using AI, with plans to expand into more sports, including cycling and <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.efinancialcareers.com\/news\/2023\/09\/football-to-banking\">football<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Ramshaw is a bit of an outlier in that other senior hires tend to already be in the world of motorsports.
