Horror fans can catch three classic films on the big screen as part of a cinema\u2019s scary movie marathon.<\/p>\n
The one-off event sees some of the best-loved slasher flicks in history played back-to-back at Bluewater\u2019s Showcase Cinema de Lux.<\/p>\n

Film fanatics can buy one ticket to see three heart-pounding blockbusters at the shopping centre in Greenhithe, between Gravesend<\/a> and Dartford<\/a>, in a single night.<\/p>\n The triple bill of retro movies includes Friday the 13th, A Nightmare on Elm Street and Scream.<\/p>\n Friday the 13th, the film that introduced killer Jason Voorhees to terrified cinema-goers, made its screen debut in 1980 and was one of the earliest hits of the slasher genre.<\/p>\n Just a few years later, in 1984, Robert Englund took on the hair-raising role of Freddy Krueger, a child murderer who hunts teenagers in their dreams, in the first Nightmare on Elm Street film.<\/p>\n Wes Craven\u2019s Scream kicked off this multi-million-dollar franchise in 1996, with the infamous Ghostface making his first appearance as he torments Sidney Prescott and the other high school students of Woodsboro.<\/p>\n Jon Dixon, UK marketing director at Showcase Cinemas, said: \u201cFriday the 13th may be unlucky for some, but not at Showcase Cinemas.
