After an underwhelming performance in his rematch with Conor Benn<\/a>, Chris Eubank Jr<\/a> has chosen to continue his boxing career\u2014and now a former world champion has offered him a fight, claiming to be Eubank\u2019s best option despite a four-year hiatus.<\/p>\n

Eubank impressed when he handed Benn a first career defeat last April but in their rematch, the now 36-year-old looked a shadow of his former self. Although, whether that performance can be attributed to his age or his difficulties making the weight remains to be seen.<\/p>\n

It is now understood that Eubank Jr will return to the super-middleweight division this year, anticipated to fight at 168lbs for the first time since defeating James DeGale in 2019<\/a> and has been linked to a potential clash with fellow Briton Hamzah Sheeraz.<\/p>\n

However, Sheeraz is not the only compatriot being mentioned for a clash with Eubank, as former IBF welterweight ruler Kell Brook told Boxing King Media<\/a> that he hopes to land the fight, despite four years away from the ring.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have had history, he lost his pen when he should have been in with [Gennady] Golovkin, he didn\u2019t fancy that and I had to step in.<\/p>\n

\u201cMe and him have been mentioned a few times but listen, I have had back and forth before but if they mean business and they want it to happen then they know exactly what my fee is, they know what I want and it can happen.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am the biggest fight out there for him.\u201d<\/p>\n
