The owner of a local pub in the Sandringham area has spoken about Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor\u2019s arrival at the estate after his exile from Royal Lodge in Windsor.<\/p>\n

The pub, The Black Horse Inn, sits just a stone\u2019s throw away from St Mary Magdalene Church, where the Royal Family gathers every year for their Christmas service. <\/p>\n

After being evicted from Royal Lodge last week, the disgraced former Duke of York was moved into a much smaller accommodation at Wood Farm until renovations are complete at Marsh Farm, which is set to become his permanent home.<\/p>\n

When asked about the locals’ thoughts on Andrew moving to the area, the owner revealed: \u201cIt’s a 50\/50 split, some are disgusted with his potential behaviour, but others say he hasn’t been convicted and he’s innocent until proven guilty. I sit somewhere in the middle.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think it would be better for him to be brought in [by the police] if he is innocent, as he says,\u201d he continued to tell Hello!.<\/p>\n

Locals in the area were asked about their feelings regarding the arrival of Andrew, and their responses were mixed.<\/p>\n

Abraham Bruin, 83, who was visiting the estate, said: \u201cI’m a little bit flabbergasted myself. If he’s an outcast and living on the estate, he\u2019s not an outcast, is he?\u201d <\/p>\n

Another added: \u201cReally, he’s going back to luxury, isn\u2019t he? He’s being waited on hand and foot.\u201d<\/p>\n

A third said: \u201cThe press are all down there. The villagers don’t like that. It’s a quiet village.<\/p>\n

They also stated that the home is \u201ctoo close to the road\u201d and that a home, \u201dout in the woods that’s surrounded by trees and no other houses\u2026 would have been better.\u201d <\/p>\n

Andrew was ousted from Royal Lodge last week after pressure on the disgraced former royal continues to mount amid the latest release of the Epstein files.<\/p>\n

One of the most recent findings from the released emails appears to show that he pestered Jeffrey Epstein for the use of his multi-million-pound homes while the sex offender was under house arrest.<\/p>\n

The former Duke of York seemingly sent multiple emails to Epstein asking for the use of high-end properties in Paris and New York.<\/p>\n

He also boldly appeared to approach the disgraced financier for the use of his homes on behalf of his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson.<\/p>\n

The emails also allegedly show Andrew used Epstein\u2019s private cars and drivers.<\/p>\n

An email from Andrew in 2009, seemingly says it has been \u201cfar too long\u201d since they last spoke and after some small talk Andrew asks: \u201cI have to go to Paris this coming weekend,11h to 14\u2019 Sept and I remember that you have an apartment in Paris and was just wondering if I might be allowed to use it for the weekend?<\/p>\n

“This is a private weekend and I am already booked into a hotel but on the off chance that you would allow me to use your apartment it would be great from a number of perspectives.\u201d<\/p>\n

Being named in the Epstein files is not an indication of misconduct.<\/p>\n
