Filming on Matt Reeves\u2019 \u201cThe Batman: Part II is expected to get underway about three months from now with multiple key roles already set.<\/p>\n

A new report from Jeff Sneider at The Hot Mic<\/a> says one key part, that of Harvey Dent\u2019s father Christopher Dent, remains uncast, with both Brad Pitt and now Stellan Skarsg\u00e5rd being offered and subsequently declining the role.<\/p>\n

Whomever is cast will join Sebastian Stan as Harvey Dent and Scarlett Johansson as his wife Gilda Dent. They will join returnees Robert Pattinson as Bruce Wayne\/Batman, Colin Farrell as Oz Cobb\/The Penguin, Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth, Jeffrey Wright as Commissioner James Gordon and Barry Keoghan as The Joker.<\/p>\n

Filming will take place primarily out of Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden as well as Liverpool and Glasgow. The project, like the last film, has no ties to Gunn & Safran\u2019s DC Universe though is being produced by DC Studios.<\/p>\n

The news follows a report the other day from scooper John Rocha<\/a> whose sources indicated that another DC property, the Themyscira-set \u201cParadise Lost\u201d TV series, \u201cis dead\u201d and there are no plans for a TV show any more at DC Studios.<\/p>\n

That likely ties into the news last Summer that \u201cSupergirl\u201d scribe Ana Nogueira was writing a \u201cWonder Woman\u201d movie for DC Studios, which now looks like it has seemingly supplanted \u201cParadise Lost\u201d.<\/p>\n
