Barcelona will face no financial penalties if they decide against making Marcus Rashford’s move permanent, it has been revealed. The England international is midway through his season-long loan at the Catalan club<\/a> from Manchester United<\/a> and has made a significant impact since his arrival.<\/p>\n He has netted 10 goals and contributed 13 assists in all competitions, with Barca currently topping La Liga<\/a>, just one point ahead of Real Madrid<\/a>. The 28-year-old has already expressed his wish to remain at the Nou Camp on a permanent basis, with a return to Old Trafford this summer appearing unlikely.<\/p>\n The Spanish club hold a \u00a326million option to make the deal permanent, as sporting director Deco outlined the terms of his temporary arrangement<\/a>. Speaking to SPORT<\/a>, the former Chelsea<\/a> and Portugal midfielder was questioned about whether Barcelona<\/a> would incur a penalty clause if Rashford isn’t signed permanently.<\/p>\n He stated: “No, it’s a loan, and we have an option.” When asked whether they intend to keep Rashford long term, Deco responded: “Yes, definitely. I think it wasn’t easy to come here. He has played at a very high level, with enormous demands at a club like Manchester United.<\/p>\n “Then he spent six months at Aston Villa<\/a>, where he did a very good job. In fact, Aston Villa, they would have kept him if it had been possible. I know this because I’ve spoken to people there.
