Update [Fri 13th Feb 2026, 4:30pm]: That exclusive, limited time demo for Mina the Hollower is now available<\/a> on PS5. Weighing in at just 277 MB, it’s a tiny download, so you might as well take a look.<\/p>\n

As mentioned below, the demo takes you through the game’s first stage, ending after the first big boss fight. Your progress will carry over to the full game should you decide to buy it.<\/p>\n

Original Story: Mina the Hollower<\/a> has been a long time coming, but developer Yacht Club Games has finally provided an update \u2014 of sorts.<\/p>\n

The game’s launch has been narrowed down to Spring 2026, meaning it’s now only a couple of months away.<\/p>\n

Patient fans needn’t wait that long, however, as a new playable demo is coming exclusively to PS5 tomorrow, 13th February 2026.<\/p>\n

Available for a limited time, the demo is essentially the beginning of the game, letting you play through the first stage and concluding with the game’s first boss fight.<\/p>\n

Progress you make in the demo can be carried over to the full game when it launches soon.<\/p>\n

Mina the Hollower is a throwback action game heavily inspired by Game Boy Color titles, hence its chunky pixelated look.<\/p>\n

You play as a mouse who can burrow beneath the ground to navigate stages and get the jump on enemies.<\/p>\n
