A lot has happened on Coronation Street<\/a> since Christmas Day, but the brutal attack on Daniel Osbourne<\/a> (Rob Mallard<\/a>) that night was never going to go unpunished for long.<\/p>\n In tonight\u2019s episode, Daniel made the bold decision to visit the man blamed for the attack in prison, as part of a restorative justice scheme. However, things didn\u2019t go the way he\u2019d anticipated, even after warnings from Adam Barlow<\/a> (Sam Robertson<\/a>) not to expect too much.<\/p>\n Viewers will recall that a homeless man was arrested<\/a> after he was found with Daniel\u2019s stolen belongings, and later admitted to mugging him.<\/p>\n However, Daniel noticed a glaringly obvious discrepancy when he came face-to-face with the man.<\/p>\n After his supposed attacker limped into the room, Daniel questioned how long he\u2019d been injured, and he explained that it was an old Achilles injury that had been bothering him for months.<\/p>\n The overseeing officer was caught off guard when Daniel began to speculate that this man hadn\u2019t been his attacker, arguing that he had distinctly heard someone running away from the crime scene.<\/p>\n \t\t He pointed out that someone could easily have framed him, especially as the man didn\u2019t remember what had happened that night. <\/p>\n The one thing he couldn\u2019t understand was why he had confessed to something he couldn\u2019t remember doing, but it became clear when he pointed out that there was food and a warm bed in prison.<\/p>\n When Daniel left, he had more questions than when he arrived \u2013 mainly, who was really behind his attack?<\/p>\n It didn\u2019t take him long to figure it out.<\/p>\n In the Rovers, he overheard Eva Price<\/a> (Catherine Tyldesley<\/a>) discussing Will Driscoll<\/a>\u2019s (Lucas Hodgson-Wale<\/a>) temper, and he was quickly reminded of his attitude<\/a> on Christmas Day.<\/p>\n Will had done nothing to hide his dislike of Daniel over Christmas dinner, with their argument quickly escalating.<\/p>\n \t\t \t\t\t\tDon’t miss a Soaps scoop! Thinking quickly, Megan covered the truth by telling him Will had a schoolboy crush.<\/p>\n Will\u2019s hatred of Daniel only grew, until he lashed out on Christmas Day and left him for dead in the ginnel.<\/p>\n Having witnessed her grandson\u2019s attack, Maggie Driscoll<\/a> (Pauline McLynn<\/a>) staged it as a mugging to protect Will, and they both agreed to keep their mouths shut.<\/p>\n Unfortunately, Will couldn\u2019t hide the truth when Daniel confronted him, with his reaction confirming Daniel\u2019s suspicions that he was his attacker.<\/p>\n \t\t When he presented Megan with his theory, she appeared to inwardly panic, urging Daniel to sleep on it before making the decision to go to the police.<\/p>\n However, Daniel had already made up his mind, and when Megan visited the Rovers later, she was horrified to find DC Kit Green<\/a> (Jacob Roberts<\/a>) there to take Will into questioning.<\/p>\n The situation escalated further when Will tried to run, and Kit had no choice but to arrest him.<\/p>\n Will Will admit to attacking Daniel?
