A pub which has been forced to close multiple times in the last few years is set to shut again.<\/p>\n
Until recently, Billy Dutton and Kieran-miguel D\u2019la had been running both The Angel in Rainham and the Rising Sun in Rochester.<\/p>\n

Now, they have announced they are closing The Angel, months after stepping back from the Rising Sun.<\/a><\/p>\n The business partners took over The Angel near Riverside Country Park in October 2024,<\/a> after Vesta Pubs announced they were leaving after only seven months at the helm. <\/a><\/p>\n Now, in a post on social media today (Sunday), they said they had made the difficult decision to close the doors.<\/p>\n They wrote: \u201cAfter much thought, we have made the difficult decision to close our doors.<\/p>\n \u201cWe want to thank every single person who has walked through them \u2013 for the laughs, the music, the celebrations, the friendships and the support.<\/p>\n \u201cYou made this place what it was.\u201d<\/p>\n The pair said it had been \u201can honour\u2019 to serve the community and thanked them from the bottom of their hearts.<\/p>\n It will be the fourth time the pub has changed hands in the last three years.<\/p>\n The business partners had also run the Rising Sun in Rochester for more than three years but announced they were stepping back in December.
