After leading both sessions on day one, title favourite Nicolo Bulega<\/a> broke into the 1m 28s in Tuesday morning’s FP3 – when Jake Dixon was injured and ruled out of the season opener by an early highside<\/a>.<\/p>\n Bimota’s Axel Bassani then turned the tables on Bulega for much of the final FP4 session.\u00a0<\/p>\n Article continues below ADVERTISEMENT<\/p>\n Article continues below ADVERTISEMENT<\/p>\n However, the Aruba.it Ducati rider responded dominantly in the closing stages, completing a perfect sweep of the timesheets with several best laps of the test and a 0.666s advantage.<\/p>\n Second went to Sam Lowes, after a back-and-forth with fellow satellite Ducati rider Lorenzo Baldassarri.
