West Ham United assistant coach Paco Jemez admits he loves working with captain Jarrod Bowen, insisting that the forward is one of the most \u2018complete\u2019 players he has seen in football.<\/p>\n

The fact is that, since the Hammers completed the shock appointment of the ex-Rayo Vallecano coach<\/a> a month ago, their form has taken a massive turn in the right direction.<\/p>\n

West Ham United<\/a> have won three of five Premier League matches with Paco Jemez<\/a> sitting alongside Nuno Espirito Santo in the dugout. And, as our Talking Point users were keen to point out following successive victories over Tottenham and Sunderland, it is surely no coincidence that West Ham look a much more complete team with Jemez<\/a> in the building.<\/p>\n

What would you say if Paco Jemez took Nuno\u2019s job? <\/p>\n

He’s certainly made a big impact\u2026<\/p>\n

Speaking of \u2018complete\u2019, that is a word the 55-year-old Spaniard uses to describe one of the many players who has found his feet again over the last four weeks.<\/p>\n

Jarrod Bowen<\/a> has two goals and two assists in those five league matches ahead of Saturday\u2019s late kick off against AFC Bournemouth.<\/p>\n

Jemez worked with the likes of a pre-Swansea Michu and Atletico Madrid icon Saul Niguez in his native Spain. Bowen, though, is arguably the most high-profile player to ever share a dressing room with the one-time Granada, UD Ibiza and Las Palmas boss.<\/p>\n

\u201c[Bowen is] spectacular,\u201d Jemez tells Maldini World<\/a>. \u201cI haven\u2019t seen a winger as complete as Bowen in a long time. <\/p>\n

\u201cHe has goals, he has football [ability], he has [work rate in] defence, he has charisma\u2026 He\u2019s the team captain. It\u2019s a luxury to have a player like him.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bowen believes Queens Park Rangers victory was the turnaround<\/p>\n

West Ham host AFC Bournemouth on Saturday evening hoping to maintain their recent resurgence. <\/p>\n

A victory over Andoni Iraola\u2019s side will see the Hammers leapfrog Nottingham Forest into 17th while moving to within two points of Tottenham Hotspur prior to Sunday\u2019s North London derby.<\/p>\n

While some have attributed a turnaround to Jemez\u2019s appointment \u2013 Ollie Scarles credits Jemez with improving their backline<\/a> despite his reputation as a famously attack-minded tactician \u2013 Bowen believes that it was the narrow FA Cup third-round victory over Queens Park Rangers which ignited the spark.<\/p>\n

How do these appointments make you feel about the relegation battle? \ud83d\udc40 <\/p>\n

\u201cSometimes you only need one result,\u201d Bowen told TNT Sports<\/a> recently, looking back to a win which. came four days before Jemez\u2019s unveiling.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe looked at the QPR game, an FA Cup game, where you want to go on a cup run. You want to do a magical thing in the FA Cup, and I think that can help turn the season almost. The QPR game had a bit of everything, you know. Into extra-time, 120 minutes you know, [Taty Castellanos] scored in extra-time.<\/p>\n

\u201cThen we went to Tottenham away and won that game. Sunderland at home, we won.\u201d<\/p>\n
