Over two months ago, Google began testing its AI-powered configuration tool<\/a>. It allows you to ask AI questions about the Google Search Console performance reports and it would bring back answers for you. Well, Google is now rolling out this tool for all.<\/p>\n

Google said<\/a> on LinkedIn, \u201cThe Search Console\u2019s new AI-powered configuration is now available to everyone!\u201d<\/p>\n

AI-powered configuration.\u00a0AI-powered configuration \u201clets you describe the analysis you want to see in natural language. Your inputs are then transformed into the appropriate filters and settings, instantly configuring the report for you,\u201d Google\u00a0said<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Rolling out now. If you login to your Search Console account and click on the performance report, you may see a note at the top that says \u201cNew! Customize your Performance report using Al.\u201d<\/p>\n

More details.\u00a0As we reported earlier, Google said \u201cThe AI-powered configuration feature is designed to streamline your analysis by handling three key elements for you.\u201d<\/p>\n

Selecting metrics:\u00a0Choose which of the four available metrics \u2013 Clicks, Impressions, Average CTR, and Average Position \u2013\u00a0to display based on your question.<\/p>\n

Applying filters:\u00a0Narrow down data by query, page, country, device, search appearance, or date range.<\/p>\n

Configuring comparisons:\u00a0Set up complex comparisons (like custom date ranges) without manual setup.<\/p>\n

Why we care. This is only supported in the Performance report for Search results. It isn\u2019t available for Discover or News reports, yet. Plus, it is AI, so the answers may not be perfect. But it can be fun to play with and get you thinking about things you may not have thought about yet.<\/p>\n
