One former Royal Protection Officer who used to work for the British Royal Family<\/a> has exposed a \u201chorrifying\u201d incident he witnessed while working for the former Prince Andrew<\/a>. The Crime Agents podcast host Andy Hughes received a tip-off from one source who was compelled to speak out after the release of billions of pages from the Epstein files, which contained links to Andrew Mountbatten Windsor and Sarah Ferguson.<\/p>\n

Hughes said that working for the former Duke of York was the \u201cleast desirable\u201d job an officer could land, explaining: \u201cIt is widely known that to be on Prince Andrew<\/a>‘s detail was the one job officers didn’t want. This officer said to me that it’s because they were put in awkward positions on many occasions, especially during the \u2018Randy Andy\u2019 days, when he was flying all over the world meeting women \u2013 which put them in a very difficult position.\u201d<\/p>\n

He added that officers would have to \u201cturn a blind eye\u201d when they witnessed \u201ccertain types of behaviour\u201d, but didn’t elaborate any further, and was horrified to learn of the consequences for officers who reported a royal.<\/p>\n

On the podcast, Hughes explained that officers who reported concerns were punished, being taken off the royal unit and \u201cput back in uniform\u201d. He said: \u201cIt has been a regular thing that officers who have reported back would not only be taken off that unit, but also put back in uniform, walking the beat as punishment for reporting a member of the Royal Family.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n

Citing his source, he added: \u201cThis officer is saying that others who were with Prince Andrew must have seen something, because there were so many young women and girls on the island, and even if they didn’t witness any criminality, they would have witnessed stuff that was extremely unsettling, and they should have reported it. He believes that they didn\u2019t.<\/p>\n

Andrew has vehemently and continuously denied any wrongdoing.<\/p>\n
